About Wrights for Camping

Wright's for Camping is a small tent campground set in the woods in Cannon Beach, Oregon. Family run, we have been in business since 1959. We have about 23 campsites with a fire ring and picnic table at each site. We maintain a clean bathhouse with showers and flush toilets. We have a deep sink for washing dishes and a washer and a dryer for laundry. We are open from Memorial Day Weekend until Labor Day.

ATTENTION: We are now charging a $25 NON-REFUNDABLE Deposit for each reservation made. This will apply to your base fee when you arrive. It will NOT be refunded if you cancel.
Our rates for May, June and after Labor Day are $50 for up to 2 people and $3 for each additional person. For July 1 through Labor Day the rates are $53 for up to 2 people and $3 for each additional person. Yes, we do charge for babies, children, grandparents, everyone pays for their own. Thanks!

campsite 1

Tucked away in a corner, this smaller site is ideal for a couple. Absolutely No RVs or trailers in this site as parking is on an incline. This is not a good site for a rooftop tent.

campsite 2

This site is located on the back side of our Bathhouse beside our Laundry Room. This site can accommodate an RV up to 25 foot if you can back really, really well and a long ways. There will be foot traffic beside you.

This is a spacious site in the woods. RVs up to 24 foot are possible in this site if you can back well. Remember that we do not have hookups or pull-thru.

Directly across the road from the bathhouse, this is a smaller site just under the tree line. It is located near a path that has foot traffic to the bathhouse.

This is a large site in the woods, still close to the bathhouse. This site will take an RV up to 25 feet if you can turn and back well. We have no pull-thru or hookups.

This is a larger site out on the highway side near our firewood shed. It is not under the tree line. RVs up to 20 feet can use this site if you can turn and back well. We do not have hookups.

Just under the tree line on the highway side, this is a small cozy site with a crooked tree that marks the site. No RVs, trailers or large vehicles in this site.

This is a quaint, smaller site in the woods on the highway side of camp. RVs or trailers are not able to use this site. The driveway has a slight incline so it is not good for car camping or truck tents.

This is a huge site in the trees at the end of the road on the highway side of camp. No trailers or large motor homes allowed in this site. Sprinter vans are fine. We have no hook ups or pull through sites.

campsite 12

This is a large site down in the middle of the woods. It can accommodate a small RV up to 25 feet, however the road is narrow and hard to turn. If you have a wide RV or trailer, this site is not for you.

campsite 13

Site 13 is to the left on the loop towards the middle of the campground. It is a large site, somewhat isolated with only one site near it. Large parties often rent #13 and #14 together.

This is a large site relatively isolated around the loop. Larger parties often rent 13 and 14 together. This is a good site for an RV up to 25 feet if you can back up. No pull-thu or hook-ups.

This site is away from the highway near the middle of the campground. RVs up to 25 feet can get into this site, however trailers will have to unhook from the vehicle to fit. We do not have hookups or pull-thru.

This is a site near the back of our woods just behind site 15. A small motor home or van up to 22 feet can fit into this site as long as you can back well. No Trailers Please.

This is a large campsite located near the back of the campground in the woods. Small motor homes or vans can use this site. This is NOT site for trailers. No pull-thru or hook-ups.

This site is towards the back of the campground, deep in the woods. Please no RVs in this site.

campsite 19

This site is under the trees, tucked away between 9 and 10 with two tent areas on the highway side of camp. It is not near #18 or #20. This is not a good site for car camping. Please no RVs in this site.

This campsite is at the back of the campground deep in the woods. Please no RVs in this site. There is parking for one car. Other vehicles can be parked across from our Office if needed.

A small site located back in the woods near our table storage shed. This is a tent site. However, there is parking for a small RV up to 20 feet if you can unhook from your vehicle. Bring levelers.

One of our newer tent sites nestled in the back of the campground located above site #20. This site is up a rather steep incline so make sure your car is one that can make it up.

This is a new site where our old table shed used to be just above site 21. This is a tent site. Absolutely no trailers. There is no turning space with all of our trees. No hook ups available.

Terms & Conditions

Due to a huge increase in fraudulent credit cards and a large number of reservations not showing up, there is now a $25 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit required for all reservations. This deposit will apply to your base fee for camping. We do have a 72 hour cancellation policy. If you need to cancel, please give us a full 72 hours notice beginning midnight three days before. There will be a charge of the base fee - $50 for May-June, and $53 for July thru Labor Day - for those who cancel too LATE or do NOT show up. This is to protect the many people trying to make reservations who want to come no matter what the weather.

Please note that we do charge for Babies, Children, Lawyers, Librarians, Batman, Superman, People who think they are Superman...etc. Everyone pays for their own. Visitors to your site are welcome for two hours. After that, they become guests and you need to pay for them and they must fall under the 6 person per site limit.

Check-in is between 2pm and 10pm. Guests must be checked in no later than 10pm as it gets too noisy for our other customers. Check-out is by 12pm noon. Family Campground - No Parties Period
