About Historic Matewan House
Welcome home to the Historic Matewan House
It is located in one of the most famous towns in the state, Matewan, West Virginia, which is Home of the Matewan Massacre and the Heart of Hatfield McCoy Country.

Prices are based on up to two people occupancy any addition people in room are $45 per person per night.
Children under 18 are free.
Non refundable deposit equal to half of the total is required, if cancellation is made within week of reservation the deposit minus any cancellation fees may be transferred to a future stay within year of date.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation prior to 21 days of stay--$25 Dollar Cancellation fee remainder of deposit can be applied to future stay.
Cancellation prior to 7 days of stay--$100 Dollar Cancellation fee remainder of deposit can be applied to future stay.
Cancellation less than 7 days of stay-- Forfeit of Full Deposit
Sorry No Pets Allowed and No Smoking inside rooms or building.
You will be asked if you need permits. Providing this information allows us to have the number of permits needed by our guests, so that you will not have the hunt for them somewhere else. The price is not included at time of reservation. We also request that you bring cash for permits. This makes it easier on us to keep it seperate from rooms because of tax difference.
