About Chewonki's Debsconeag Lake Wilderness Camps
Birch Camp is one of our oldest cabins. The main cabin walls are lined with intricate birchbark designs. Oral stories that have been shared tell that the artwork was crafted by a Wabanaki Woman in the early 1900's. The main cabin has a double bed, and the attached annex has two single beds. There is no Woodstove or heat source in Birch Camp.
