A Great Season
Review by Dot on 10/12/15, 7:00 AM
This was our first year on a seasonal site there. We simply love it there. It was quiet, we have a beautiful site, and the management are great. They go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. We have set up the site with everything that we need and they were more than willing to help in any way they could. It has a nice new pool, the bathhouses are so clean, all the other campers are nice and friendly, and the park is kept very clean. It is an all around great place to camp!!!
Nice surprise

We just came back from a two night stay over this Memorial day weekend 2015. It felt nice not being told you have to take three nights. Sometimes you have other obligations and that is not possible. The park was very large and easy to get to. Open field type camping, which we like. We had a pull through site. New picnic tables, with a fire ring on your site. A beautiful new pool. Very clean and modern rest rooms. We like to ride our bicycles in the park and the area was nice and flat for that. Pond area for canoe or kayak with a large beach on the property. Very quiet and relaxing. We definitely will go back again this year. I would like to see a playground for children. They did have a bean bag game to play.
Labor Day Weekend

Turtle Kraal is a brand new campground with potential to be something great. This park would is big rig friendly with many pull thru sites. The electricity and water was great and the sewer was positioned midway on the site. This is what I call a no frills and very simple park. The only amenity on site was a very nice pool. The bathrooms and showers were very clean. We did find the pond towards the back of the campground but it look mainly like a fishing pond. Most sites offer little to no shade and all sites are quite large. There are some sites that are on the perimeter of the campground which have woods on the back of the site. Other than that you are in an open field. You have plenty of space to move around and was very easy to pull thru and set up my 30 foot travel trailer. The owners were very nice and they went out of there way to make sure you were satisfied and pleased with the site.
