Reviews for Trout Run Camp Resort

Wellsville, New York

 Very nice and getting better

We stayed at Trout Run for 2 weeks in August 2017. The park has large spaces and is fairly level, with paved roads and speed bumps to keep traffic moving safely for kids and bikers. The owners are very nice and attentive, taking time to make sure that we got a satellite friendly spot that we could pull into with our dolly and toad. The camp is a project under construction, with a new salt water pool and work being done on the roads and utilities. The camp has a driving range, laundry, a large pavilion, and playground areas. There is a nice camp store with Perry's ice cream. Most sites have some trees and concrete patios with picnic tables. The camp was a former trailer park, and some of the utilities are on the wrong side and/or located some distance away from some sites. They are all workable, though. The owners will work with you to make sure you have what you need, including providing additional lengths of PVC for sewer connections. The owner is in the process of making changes to the park and is very attentive to feedback. Other than some units in the laundry being out of order, the park was very well maintained and is quiet. The city of Wellsville is nearby with restaurants and other attractions. It is a perfect place for full timers and is affordable and worth it. The owners are trying very hard to make improvements as quickly as they can and it shows. We will definitely be returning.

Super great place! Owners are great and accommodating to all. Campers are super helpful when you are in need of help and ideas. Two weekends booked for next year already and looking at maybe some more.

I stayed in the cabin for the weekend and highly recommended it. Has everything you need and very cozy. Great place to retreat to and the Owner Kevin went out of his way to make it more comfortable. Can't wait to come back

 not up to par yet

While advertising free Wifi, we did not get wifi the entire time there. While it is not the fault of the campground, there is NO tv antenna reception in the area. Campers with dogs did not clean up after their dogs, this should be cleared up as rules are put into place. As of now, there seems to be no rules, especially quite time. I believe the campground has good potential, but it is going to take a little time to bring it up to par.
