Pick up time/delivery is after 3:00 pm on the first day of the rental.
Return time/or delivery pick up time is 12:00 pm (NOON) on the last day of the rental.
Other times may be available upon request. Always return the trailer clean inside.
Location: 2909 Ogdens Beach Road, Port McNicoll, Ontario, L0K1R0.
Obligation from Us. We are obligated to have the camper as follows:
A) Have the preferred camper available at time of pick up (3:00 pm or thereafter—up till 8:00 pm) and the day of departure or at the agreed time from both parties. (or earlier if available and agreed by both parties).
B) In good working condition and complete with inventory and accessories, enclosed in this rental agreement.
C) With the required documents of ownership/registration and insurance policy papers.
D) With sufficient instructions; camper guide made available inside the camper plus a set up of the camper available at time of pick up which the renter must allow up to 45 minutes for demonstration.
Obligation from Renter: Delivery, Set Up, Pick Up:
The renter agrees:
A) To pay the rent sum or cancellation owed, even if the renter does not use the camper, or uses it for a shorter period of time.
B) To use the camper only for camping intentions, make no alterations to the camper.
C) To follow the instructions supplied by us and not to lend or rent the camper to others.
D) Camper must be returned to us by 3:00 pm on the rental period end date or a late fee of $99 per day applies.
E) Have the travel trailer cleaned in the inside as it was given on day 1. If not on delivery service, renter must have holding tanks emptied on the return day or a $50 fee applies to every tank.
F) If incorrect delivery information is submitted through the reservation request form that results in delivering the rental on the wrong date or to the wrong site/location, $150 will automatically be deducted from your security deposit to cover travel costs & time spent.
G) The renter agrees to be punctual when picking up and dropping off the trailer at the agreed time. Or when we are delivering the trailer, the renter agrees to be present at the agreed time. A 30 minute grace period will be extended from the agreed meeting time. Once exceeding the 30 minutes, a $50 fee will be charged to the renter for every 15 minutes the renter is late. This will be deducted from the security deposit.
H) Renter accepts responsibilities over the winter season if any water lines freezes and cause water damage.
I) Travel Trailers may travel in Canada and within the Continental USA.
Insurance:We offer towing insurance for accidental up to $1M and also include liability for up to $1M at no extra charge when you are renting our tent & travel trailers: Fire, Theft, Wind, Hail,
Malicious Acts, Vandalism, Physical Damage to the rented trailer (in case of an accident while in tow), NO Contents Coverage. If the tent or travel trailer causes bodily injury or property damage to a third party, this coverage (liability) also includes up to $1M. When the tent or travel trailer is parked at the campsite/cottage, the coverage extends to the Renter/Driver and his/her auto/home policy (tree falling etc). The Renter’s $500 security deposit ($1000 for Special Events) will be forfeited if the trailer is damaged by all or any of the above in any way to cover the deductible plus any additional fees above that amount.
If the camper and /or the contents in the camper are damaged during your possession, you are responsible to pay all damage costs whether you were at fault or not or if damage was caused by acts of nature (wind, rain, lightning, fire etc). If an accident occurs, you are responsible for obtaining a police report, contacting your insurance company (or Wayfarer Insurance Brokers), their insurance company and then contacting us to inform us of the situation. Our contact numbers are noted above in this rental agreement. The security deposit is non-refundable if the camper is returned damaged in any way plus any additional charges. It is not allowed to attach anything to the camper, (hitch to bumper) this also applies to adhesives and sticker, apart from compulsory adhesives on the inside of the camper from us or authorities. Renters cannot add another bicycle mount to the camper. Towing hitches are supplied to the renter by us. Some towing hitches comes with weight distribution system and must be used at all times when towing the camper. The renter acknowledges the possibility of a mechanical failure or breakdown, and recognizes that such occurrence is an inherent risk associated with the operation of a recreational vehicle and beyond the control of us. The renter agrees to hold us harmless from and against any loss of time, transportation costs, inconvenience, food loss in camper and any and all expenses resulting from such failure or breakdown. The renter is responsible for flat tire repairs. We are responsible for major breakdowns on the axle, bearings as long as the renter was driving to current weather conditions and obeying the traffic speed limit laws as defined per a police report.
The air conditioner, propane furnace, hot water, radio, microwave, refrigerator, freezer, oven, stove top burners, tv, dvd player, electric receptacles, lighting, are convenience items. If any malfunctions should occur with any of these items, no compensation will be made to you. We recommend renters book a hydro 30 amp site as the battery may only last a few hours or days depending on it’s use for non hydro sites. For assistance, you are advised to consult the information material in the camper (help guide), or contact us for further instructions.
Awnings damage easily and are the full responsibility of the renter. Awnings must be retracted in windy conditions and drained properly of water (lower one corner). The awning manufacturers recommend awnings be retracted in windy conditions and/or during rain/snow and will not warranty awnings for wind or rain damage. Ensure that awnings are raised high enough over the entrance door so rubbing does not occur. Rip or damage awnings upon end of rental period will result in loss of the security deposit plus additional charge to replace it.
Condensation and/or rain:
Condensation may occur occasionally due to heat, cold, air conditioner on and/or furnace. You may encounter water inside the trailer which is at not fault to us. We are not held responsible for any water damage caused by condensation or rain. Renter takes full responsibility if personal items are damaged due to condensation and/or rain and/or any act of nature. (keeping a window open helps condensation).
You can reserve the travel trailer in advance by paying $200 non-refundable deposit which will be applied to your rental. We accept cash, interac etransfers (payment: firstname.lastname@example.org) ,credit card/Paypal. Camper rental must be paid in full by the 21st day prior to departure.
A security deposit of $500 (or $1000 for Special Events) in cash, interac etransfer or credit card must be paid 48 hours prior to pick up/delivery. The deposit will be held for any deductible items used or damages even if the Renter was insured by our insurance brokers at Wayfarer Insurance or their own Insurance coverage. Ask to see the Fee Chart for all costs of any damaged item on the camper. The security deposit will be returned after the camper has been fully inspected (within 48 hours) minus any fees. Note that the inspection can take up to 1 hour, once returned to our location.
Cancellations by Renter:
Your Booking Deposit of $200 is non-refundable if you cancel. If cancelled at 21 days or less, from the departure date, the total amount paid is non-refundable. If we cancel your reservation for any reason, all your payments made to us will be refunded at 100% and returned to you within 10 business days of the cancellation date.
Cancellations by The Trailer Brothers:
In a event where the travel trailer returns damaged or was damaged by a act of nature, and we are unable to offer it to a booked rental, all monies paid will be returned to the renter.
We welcome pets in our 22’ Sportsmen Unit C and our 14' Clipper, and any pet related damage will be deducted from the security deposit.
There is No Smoking in the camper. If the trailer is returned with any kind of smoking odour (other then campfire smoke), it will result in the forfeiture of the full security deposit.

I, the Renter, agree to the Rental Agreement Terms and Conditions provided in this Rental Agreement by ‘The Trailer Brothers’. I understand that I must submit a $500 security/damage deposit ($1000 for Special Events)
48 hours prior to pick up or delivery by interact etransfer, cash or credit card to ‘The Trailer Brothers’.
I, the Renter understand that ‘The Trailer Brothers’ may at times have to substitute or cancel the booked travel trailer or tent trailer due to it’s returned condition by a previous renter. Full refund if ‘the trailer brothers’ need to cancel. No refunds if I cancel less then 21 days from the departure date.
I, the Renter assumes all responsibilities for all occupants in my travel trailer or tent trailer rental.
CAMPER MUST BE RETURNED CLEANED INSIDE AS IT WAS GIVEN TO YOU ON DAY 1 OF THE RENTAL, or other fees may apply. REMEMBER that you are renting our private rentals. Please treat them with the same respect as your home or personal belongings.
