Sunset Bay RV Resort & Campground Features

11 tents directly on the lake, 3 RV site directly on the lake. All site have good views of the lake.
Three bath houses and laundry with ice available. Great access to hiking and 4 wheeler trails.
We can accommodate up to 4 horses if you like to bring yours. direct access to Michigan State Forest of 400 acres for riding and hiking. Free wireless internet throughout the campground.
1200 feet of fine agate beach for rock picking and then there is another 1800 feet of sand beach for swimming. ALL campground water is produced by our enormous reverse osmosis
water system with higher than bottled water clarity. We do everything in our power to keep the campground QUIET and enjoyable for our campers. Those who wish to spoil the fun will be asked to leave ASAP. Pets are welcome and must be leashed when outside. Firepits on every site. Firewood is available for $5 for a large bundle, Ice $2 for 10#

Michigan Technological University has many interesting places to visit. There are several mines to visit. The historic Calumet Theater, Calumet Nations Park visitors center. Many water falls and observations points. 2 medical centers withing 20 & 30 min from the campground


Terms & Conditions

Reservations on cabins can be cancelled up to 30 days before reservation. Campsite cancellation in 10 days before. Max 6 person to a campsite with few exceptions. Families with
children may put extra small tent if room permits. Pets must be leashed at all times except outside the campground on trails. If you pet barks all the time, don't bring it. Children must be
controlled at ALL times. Bad behavior will not be tolerated. That goes for everyone including my own family. Visitors are allowed to stay 4 hrs or pay $5 for up to 8 hrs. ALL visitors must be out
of the campground 1/2 hr after sunset, which can be as late as 11pm in June. Excessive Drinking will NOT be tolerated. If there is a complaint you will be asked to go to your trailer or tent and be quiet. If that doesn't work the Sheriff is only 5 minutes away from the campground.
Basicly use common sense, if you don't have that go to the state campground outside of Hancock. .
