About Smith Island Inn
This 1880's Eastern Shore Farmhouse was made into a bed and breakfast in 2012. Former home of the furniture maker, the Inn maintains its historical charm and features all of the modern day amenities including charming suites with full private baths, luxury linens, and personalized service. The Inn is located on the main street in this historical village and is in close proximity to the museum, restaurants, playgrounds, church, and gift shops. Smith Island is home to 287 residents who make their home on the water through crabbing and oystering. Smith Island is truly a step back in time where long walks, amazing sunsets, quiet bird watching, bicycle rides, and sunset cruises dominate guest activities.
