How it works?
Contestants judged on 3 categories:
- Overall Presentation
- Costumes
- Set Design
Prizes
- 1st Place per category - 2 hr cruise (weekday)
- 2nd place - bonus hour gift certificate on next rental
- Experience will be video-taped (hopefully streamed)
- Photos of your final presentation prior to departure
- Points Scoring: Judges & FB Likes
- Judges will review video and photos by Zoom - rating on a 5 point scale. Final
determination will be Nov 1 night with results posted by Nov 2 on RCB Facebook.
- Photos will be posted on RCB Facebook page for 24 hours from Oct 31st thru Nov 1st.
"Like Points" will count on a ranking scale from "Most to Least" for bonus points.
- Contestants ONLY "book" either Granny or Grandpa for a 2 hr run
- Contestants get 1 extra hour for set-up & strike of boat "set design installation"
- Ghost Ship Dock Party for Contestants and clients throughout the day to enjoy experience
- Team Size maximum of 6 friends or 8 same family
- Dates: October 31 and 30 if needed with interest
- Timeslots: 9-11a, 1-3p, 5-7p, 9-11p
- Limit of entries: 1st come to sign up. up to 8-16 contestant limit!
- Work Space available at our dock M7 for contestants doing set design by appointment.
- Consultation available on set-design and installation (Vernon)
- Strict Covid Coverings and distancing will be enforced.
All standard procedures for booking and pre-boarding will remain the same as listed on website. Come an hour early for contract, boat inspection and get a little more time for set-up of your Halloween Ghost ship presentation.
Once booked share info on your Ghost ship design so we can learn about what needs you may have. Let us know if you need certain access like power access while docked. We recommend bringing zip ties, AC power converter for electrical, lighting needs. Buy or make your decor: lighting, neon paint or illuminated images, matched music, video imagining, or prop idea resources.
