During the fall months, the array of wildflowers in bloom offer the explorer a colorful journey. The focus of the tour is to educate the public Point Washington State Forest and wildlife including black bears in South Walton County. You will also learn about the role of FWC in bear management and response to human-bear conflict, steps that can be taken by homeowners to avoid attracting bears, as well as, some guidelines on what to do if you see a bear.
