Great park location across street from a very nice restaurant and bar. Level parking with all amenities. The RV park manager was exceptional , helpful and informative. She was very pleasant to converse with and took pride in the RV park. We’ll definitely stay again.

 Nice Park

Review by McGregor on 9/19/24, 9:36 AM

Nice RV park with paved roads and large gravel sites that are mostly level but little shade. Bathrooms are clean and recently updated but small. Many long term tenants. There is no access to McGregor Lake without driving about 2 miles. You can walk to Little McGregor Lake thru a state campground. Beautiful grassy areas but signs say to “keep off”. Nice short walking trail along outside perimeter of the RV park. Lodge across the highway serves good pub food and has a nice view of the lake.

This was our first visit to this park, and we loved it! Very neat and clean, great managers. The walking trails around the park were great for the dogs, and us. It is quiet and just a beautiful spot. The only improvement that would be great is a fenced off leash dog park. We would definitely stay again.

Our 5-night stay at McGregor Lakes was wonderful! I really like this place because it was very nice and quiet. The enjoyable walking trails were so close to nature. All the McGregor team members were all hard-working in maintaining a clean and safe environment inside and out! Pamela (host) was very hospitable and friendly in meeting our needs. Overall, we would definitely stay at McGregor Lakes again!

Review by Lincoln Pete on 7/26/24, 10:24 AM

Great campground right off the highway. Easy to find, close to Glacier Park and Flathead Lake and very reasonable price. The campground is clean and well maintained. There are many activities close by including swimming, bike trails, beautiful scenery and Glacier Park is close by.

Great place ! Quiet, clean as a pin, paved roads and nice trails and forest service road to walk on, priced affordable, and most of all the Best Camp Hosts ! They are friendly, helpful, and make you feel they are glad you came. I wish all R V Parks were run like this. I would make one suggestion that of changing your check in time to an earlier hour. For us local people the day is half gone at 3:00 pm.

Review by Schaefer on 6/24/24, 9:33 AM

McGregor Lakes RV is a great place to stay! Nice sized sites that fit big rigs! We have a 37' 5th wheel and a long bed truck and we fit beautifully. They keep the grounds very clean and so was the laundry room. Super nice camp hostess. The lodge across the street had great food and super nice people. Highly suggest the cinnamon roll! Only thing that was disappointing was that there's no place to walk to the lake and fish. But all and all we will definitely stay here again if we come back this way.

There is a group of us, normally 4-5 campers, that stay at McGregor Lakes RV every June. We love it there, especially the clean bathrooms and showers. The host this year and especially last year were exceptional, friendly, helpful and they made our experience even better. We''ll be back next year again and look forward to it.

Nice RV park, everything was clean and well kept. Spacious enough for any large rv. A swimming pool would be a nice upgrade. The lodge has great food and great views of the lake. Pamela was the perfect host/manger. Close to Kalispell, but not to close.

We have stayed here many times over the past 6 years. Our last stay was over this past Memorial Day Weekend. As usual it was a great stay! It did rain, but that's not the parks fault! We had spot 7, and we had friends in spots 8, 9, and 11. The spots are nice, gravel, and long pull thru 's. We really like it as it is friendly and quite! It is close to both McGregor Lake and Little Bitterroot Lake. I caught a couple of nice fish there this trip, including a large Rainbow trout! We usually camp there two or three times every year!

 Great RV Park

Review by Frances on 9/24/23, 10:17 AM

We truly enjoyed our visit to McGregor. The pull thru space for our Class A was spacious and long so even with our toad, we had so much room. The staff was amazing (very nice lady but I forgot to ask her name). The restaurant across the street was very good but we were there late in the evening so only fried foods (not my thing). However, they did have live entertainment that was excellent. Access to Kalispell was important since we needed to restock before going to Glacier for a week. Highly RECOMMEND this park.

 Great Campground!

1st time camping in Montana. Somebody had recommended looking. I came across McGregor Lakes RV. I called a few weeks before our trip to see if #1 there was any availability and #2 to ask some specific questions. We decided to book for 3 nights. After having grand kids and company for most of the summer, my husband and I just wanted to go somewhere with the dog and chill out. It was very relaxing. The burn band was lifted the day that we came in , so we were able to enjoy a couple of evening fires. Campground was clean And we have no issues getting into our site. The bathrooms were spotless. We will definitely be back.

We stayed for 7 nights while skydiving at Lost Prairie and sight seeing in early August. The Camp facilities were new, we had an amazing view and the facilities were spotless. The camp hosts were fantastic and the location was perfect for getting to Drop Zone and sight seeing, extremely centrally located. Will definitely stay here again.

Review by SSS on 8/14/23, 2:20 PM

The reason for the 4 stars rather than 5 is that we had a site right near the entrance. I would pick a different site if there for more than our overnight. Get one into the campground a bit. Otherwise, bathrooms were spotless and the host couple was very nice.

 Great Stay!

This was the perfect campground for the weekend (or longer if you choose). RV hookups, clean bathrooms, and conveniently close to the lakes.

This was the very first time we have stayed in an RV park. Our equipment is new and we are newbies at this. I was actually pleased and surprised that we could get reservations shortly before the Fourth of July. Pricing was very reasonable. We had a very enjoyable experience. The park is in a beautiful setting. The accommodations are very good and the park is quite clean. There are hiking areas around the park which is a plus. The only downside was the mosquitoes were bad this time of year. We found that the host and all fellow RVer's we talked with were extremely nice and friendly. We would highly recommend this park and hope to return in the future!

I can't say enough what a great place this is. Manager is the sweetest, very helpful. She called to make sure we were coming in. Was a very rainy day and we were coming from Glacier national park on our way back to Seattle. Needed a nights rest. Manager provided verification of driving directions. We had a camper van didn't need any of the hookups. But very pretty and quiet spot. Bathrooms were amazing; so clean and a wonderful shower.

Review by Joe 90 on 9/9/22, 7:16 PM

This was out first visit since before the pandemic and our fourth since the park opened in 2013. We had a large (85' +) pull through with a large green space on our door side. As I pulled up at the office the hosts were there to greet us (by name) and quickly checked us in. I think that was about our only interaction with the hosts (apart from the occasional wave or acknowledgement) who then left us to relax and enjoy the break. The sites a fairly level and constructed of compacted gravel. For us, the utilities were well placed, about halfway down the site. Water and sewer connections all worked as they are intended and the 50amp power was consistent and reliable with no spikes, voltage drops, reversed polarity, open ground, etc. I did notice the utility posts still have coax connections and I know they did used to have satellite connection included if you had your own decoder box but I no longer see that offered. There is no OTA TV available - which makes for a pleasant break. During our stay wi-fi was easily accessible and reliable - never dropped us. Cell signals are none existent (nice) but if you tune your cell-phone in to wi-fi calling you can still make or take calls. The roads through the campground are asphalt and in excellent condition. The green space between each site varies in size but are well maintained despite the incredible heat and lack of rain that has fallen recently. Grass appears to be cut on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Each site comes with a fire pit and wooden picnic table with attached bench seating. Wood is available to purchase if required. The bathroom building has always been kept spotlessly clean each time we have visited the CG and this time was no exception - despite the CG being much busier than we have ever experienced. The laundry is based on the honour system with three loads (washed and dried) for U$10. The CG is very dark at night which is great when you look straight up to view the Milky Way. There is a little traffic noise from Hwy 2 but nothing significant. While the CG was the busiest we've ever seen it, we noticed it remained peaceful during our stay. We travelled about 7 hours to get here from our home in Canada and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Kalispell is about 30 minutes away for major grocery shopping (Costco, Wal-Mart, etc.). Ignoring the poor conversation with the Cdn$, this CG is good value and we will most certainly be back in the future

We had the misfortune to be placed beside a very noisy uncaring large group. They played their music loud, talked loud, and used the f bomb constantly. It was party city when all we wanted was a good nights rest. Lovely area. Nice hostess.

Hello Bonnie, I'm sorry you were unhappy with your visit, If you would have made us aware of the issues we would have addressed it immediately. What dates were your reservation? Second time this Summer I have stayed here. Both times the Camp Hosts have been right there to finish check-in. They also call the day before to check your arrival time, let you know your site number and be ready for your arrival. Nice sites (level, wide and long). I have a 5th wheel. Will be back again next year.

 Smith Cousin's reunion weekend

Review by Anne on 7/26/22, 5:49 PM

We had a wonderful mini family reunion the weekend of July 15-17, 2022. The price per night was very affordable, and the RV park itself was kept very clean. There was no cell service, and Yes, the internet was a bit iffy, but we weren't there to stream movies or play games. We were able to send messages and make calls via Facebook Messenger without a problem. The Montana state bird was out in force, but a regular application of bug spray kept me mosquito bite free!! The one night we sat out around the fire, we had bugs for about 45 minutes. Once full dark was upon us, the skeeters were gone. The showers were clean and the water was hot! It was a quick walk to Little McGregor if we wanted to splash around. We can't wait to see you next year for a repeat adventure!! Thank you!

Hello Joannie, we are glad you liked the RV park, the WiFi service was updated this year. During the time of your stay, we had recently had some storms & power outages which has interfered with the WiFi system and we are waiting for our service provider to resolve the issue. We have had a very wet spring so yes there were Mosquitoes. We were here as campers last year May--November 2022 and last year there was not a mosquito issue. We are nicely situated in the forest & mountains with many lakes nearby. Hope you visit us again next year. Our website opens on January 2, 2023 for next year reservations. www.mcgregorlakesrv.com Thanks, Camp Host Karen & Bryan
