Cabin 6 was clean and cute. We didn't have any neighbors close to our cabin, which was nice. The cabins are a little close to each other, if they had all been occupied, I think the experience would have been less enjoyable. The only major downside was the way the cabin smelled. I would describe as a old thrift store smell. Maybe the bedding needed a major cleaning.

We enjoyed our stay tremendously with the fire pit and seclusion. We also met our new best friends from another state. We enjoyed the privacy and clean rooms the only real downside was the price in relation to the amenities. Price should have been in the 69.00 range We beeen to rustic lodges before and this water pressure was terrible and we would rather have had a maid service for the dishes and trash/linens. Other than that I would say we would stay again and encourage others to do the same. Oh, it was close to a wonderful bar / restaurant and lots of trees too!

My husband and I were happy to find out the Lodge would be opening again after being closed for a few years ... we found out the week before Memorial Day ... we were up for a few days the end of June and found progress on the many things that must be done after having been closed for so long ... we can't wait to go again. Price is good and owners and managers were super!

I HAVE BEEN GOING TO GREY HACKLE FOR MANY YEARS. I WAS IMPRESSED WITH THE CLEANLINESS OF THE ROOMS .I AM GLAD THEY HAVE DISHES AND PANS NOW ,INCLUDING A NEW COFFEE POT. THE PLACE NEEDS TWO THINGS TO BE PERFECT. A LARGER TV AND THEY NEED TO TRIM THE PLANTS AND CUT THE GRASS. THE PROPERTY ON MEMORIAL DAY WAS TERRIBLE AND ITS TO BAD THAT THE PLACE FROM THE OUTSIDE LOOKED TERRIBLE WHEN THE INSIDE WAS VERY NICE
