DuPont Yurts and Campground

We provide clean linens and towels. Our two 30 ft yurts (Ridgeline and Bridal Veil) sleep 5-6 people, have full bathrooms w/ walk-in showers. They have full kitchens with basic kitchen utensils, pots and pans, plates/bowls/glasses/silverware, stove top/oven, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, drip coffee pot. They both have washer/dryers, heat/AC, WiFi, smart TV's, decks w/ gas grills and private fire pit areas.

Our two 24 ft yurts (Cascade and Buckhorn) have a "loaded" kitchenette w/ electric burner top to cook on, griddle, drip coffee pot, toaster, microwave and medium sized refrigerator. They both have full bathrooms w/ walk-in showers, WiFi, smart TV's, heat/AC, decks w/ gas grills, and private fire pit areas.
DuPont Kanteen is on property with hot dogs, mozzarella sticks, locally homemade pimento cheese and pretzels, ice cream, milkshakes, local ciders, local beer and other beverages!

Campground has ADA Compliant shower house, 17 Full hook-up sites, 7 Van camper/tent sites and separate tent only section coming soon!

We're 1 mile from DuPont State Forest, home of High Falls, Triple Falls, Hooker Falls, Bridal Veil Falls and several more! Miles of hiking, mtn. biking and horseback riding trails. 2 miles from Holmes State Park, (they have talking trees!) great trail to hike too! Only 15-20 mins. from Historic Downtown Hendersonville, Flat Rock Playhouse, Historic Downtown Brevard, Brevard Music Center, Pisgah National Forest, Looking Glass Falls, Sliding Rock, Looking Glass Rock, John's Rock. Only 20-30 minute drive to these; Bold Rock Cidery, Oscar Blues Brewery, Mills River Brewery and lots of great restaurants in Hendersonville and Brevard. 30-45 drive you can visit Sierra Nevada Brewery and many restaurants in the Arden/South Asheville area. We are also close to Jeter Mountain Farms and Rusty Spurs Trail Horseback riding!

Glamping Rental Rules:

Statement:

I understand the rules and rental conditions upon which I am renting accommodations, equipment and using the rest of the associated property … lodging and camping and use of the swimming/bathing facilities. The sole responsibility for my safety lies with me. In agreeing to this, I acknowledge that outdoor and water activities and exposure to the natural elements and animals can be dangerous and sometime result in injury and even death. Water facilities contain inherent risks, animals and insects can threaten and infect or injure, exposure to the elements can cause hypothermia, sunburn, among other risks inherent in participating in camping, outdoor and water activities. Alcohol and/or drugs do not mix safely with any outdoor activity.


I certify that I am over the age of 21 (and assume responsibility for those in my charge under the age of 18). I hereby assume all legal responsibility for bodily injury to myself or any other person and property as a result of my visit to DuPont Yurts and use, operation or possession of equipment hired or loaned to me. Acknowledging this, I accept complete responsibility for myself and the minor children in my charge and visit DuPont Yurts Campground and associated properties and engage in activities or events at DuPont Yurts at my own risk.


I will abide by the rules and accept the rental conditions:
- The property I rent will be returned in the same condition in which it was rented, and I will be responsible for all damage or loss that occurs during my rental period.
- I agree to hold harmless and to indemnify DuPont Yurts and its directors and officers, against all loss, damage, expense and penalty on account of personal injury or property damage to the undersigned or to any minor child or children in the charge of the undersigned, howsoever rising, whether by act or acts or failure to act of the employees or animals of the said company or not.
- I acknowledge receipt of the property in good order and condition and further agree that DuPont Yurts and its board of directors, officers and staff shall not be liable for consequential damages of any kind or nature from whatever cause arising, whether property or equipment is loaned or rented.
- I enter into agreement freely with DuPont Yurts at my own risk, acknowledging the risks inherent in outdoor and river activities and assume any and all responsibility for myself and the minor children in my charge.
- All parties agree to and will comply with Federal, State and County pollution laws and any other applicable laws and regulations.

Reservations- All reservations require a deposit of 50% of the total cost of your stay. The remaining 50% will be collected automatically one week (7 days) prior to your arrival date against the card used to make the original reservation.
Damage- By making a reservation with us, you agree to be responsible for ANY damage found to the exterior/interior of the yurt, including furniture, fixtures, linens, and any accessories. Damages will be charged to the guest.

Cancellations- Prior to 30 days of arrival date, we give 100% refund, less 10% cancellation fee.
14-29 days of arrival date, we give 50% refund.
0-14 days of arrival date, no refund.
Guest always have the option to reschedule a stay at no penalty rather than take a cash refund. Guests using this option are responsible for any difference in charges due to change of seasonal rates or difference in unit rented upon rescheduling. Guest may reschedule once. If a second stay needs to be cancelled, any payment made to DuPont Yurts will be 100% forfeited.

Check out time 11:00 a.m.
Quiet time 10 p.m.-8 a.m.

*All reservations are charged a one-time cleaning fee of $115 that will be added to your grand total at the end.

*$100 fee for pets (2 per yurt) Pets are NOT to be left alone at yurt unless in a crate. Check w/ all State Parks or National Forest you may visit about pet guidelines, for some do not allow pets.
Pets must be able to abide by quiet time hours. If you have a more outspoken pet ;) maybe best to leave them at home! Yurts are not sound proof. Pet owner will be responsible for any damage beyond the $100 pet fee. Damage cost will be placed on Credit card the reservation is made on.
