About Casita Cuernavaca

Casita Cuernavaca is the home of Bill Hood, an artist/writer, who has lived in Cuernavaca for many years. Rental is available short term by the day, week, or month. Individuals and couples are welcome to share the home with Bill for short term stay, or the entire home can be rented as well for up to 8 people.

The modern home was built in 2007 and has undergone remodeling since it's original construction. There are two bedrooms upstairs with matrimonial size beds and a third bedroom downstairs with 2 twin beds. A futon in the living room can accommodate 2 more persons bringing the total 8 people maximum. There is a covered rooftop garden with views of the city and the mountains beyond. Housekeeping and Gardener are supplied on a weekly basis. A cook can be arranged with advance notice.

The home is completely furnished including kitchen utensils, cable television, and fiber optic WiFi Internet.

Terms & Conditions

▪ Check in / out Policy - Check in time is 8 a.m. of first day of rental. Check out time is 5 p.m. of the last day of rental

▪ Deposit Policy - A deposit of $325 is required on making the reservation. This includes a $250 security deposit and $75 cleaning fee. Cleaning fee includes final cleanup on departure, trash bags, trash pickup, cleaning supplies, replacement of bottled water in house and final laundry.

▪ Cancellation Policy - there is a 25% ($62.50) charge of the security deposit for cancellations between 30 and 14 days prior to start of rental, a 50% ($125.00) charge between 13 and 8 days, and 100% ($250.00) charge for cancellations made within 7 days of start of rental.

▪ Refund policy - The security deposit is refunded at end of rental if there are no damages.

▪ General rules - Rooms are based on double occupancy. Extra fee applies for additional guests.

▪ Children - Well-behaved children over the age of 12 are considered

▪ Pets - No pets are allowed

▪ Smoking - May be enjoyed only in the outside garden areas and covered terraces.
