Amazing stay!!

I absolutely love this place! My husband and I have stayed here twice. Each time has been great and the cabins are so cute inside. Each one has a different set up and are very inviting. I love the quietness of the property and the privacy. It definitely is the prefect spot for a romantic getaway. We love the big jacuzzi tubs and the little kitchenettes. The owners always leave a little goodie bag and a note. If you are looking for an affordable and cute spot, definitely book your stay here.

As good as the photos show, which doesnât always happen with a lot of places you find online. This place does not disappoint. The kitchen was well stocked clean love. we loved that this unit had a covered porch. We donât watch much TV so we were fine. It did not have DIRECTV but needed Roku or different app logins. We never even bothered with it because there were some channels that we could watch without it. He will definitely come back because it is hard to find places that are so awesome and the budget. Keep up the good work Deb and Justin, you are definitely with the treehouses!

I am very hesitant to leave a glowing review for fear of this wonderful place becoming difficult to get a reservation in. But, my public service to humanity for the day is to wax poetic about this gem. WE LOVED IT! Everything about it. ItâÂÂs an absolute bargain too. VERY clean and decorated wonderfully. The layout in the âÂÂGreen Cabinâ absolutely maximizes the view of the lake right down to the bed and jetted tub. CanâÂÂt wait to go back.

We loved our stay at Calico Heights! The accommodations were great (they thought of everything!). The location was beautiful. The property trails were a highlight. Absolutely rent their boat and get the insider knowledge on Lake Eufala. Looking forward to another stay!
Unique Place

This was our second time to stay. The cabins are unique with beautiful views of the lake, nicely decorated and stocked with essentials. We were told just to bring our food and personal items which was spot on. They even have a cabin/storage area available with extra cooking appliances, games and ice for purchase-very convenient. The hosts are amazing and easy to work with. I would highly recommend staying here,
Great view and peace at Maroon cabin

Cabin is very comfortable with a great view of the lake from anywhere inside and from the deck. The cabin has everything needed for a weekend stay, from towels to dishes. There is visitor closet where you can pick up small appliances that you might need during your stay, and you can purchase a few small food items or ice there as well. The trail around the property is fairly simple to walk and takes you on a nice walk. We added a 4 hour pontoon boat rental and had a blast on the lake. The boat is about 20 feet long, nicely laid out and extremely comfortable. The boat runs great with Bluetooth stereo.They do charge $30 per half tank of gas, but we only used 1/4 tank in 4 hours. The cabins are far enough apart that there is privacy with out feeling completely isolated. We felt we paid a fair price for what we got, and would do it again. The only thing I would recommend is to check the listings to see what cabins have satellite tv or not. The Maroon is Roku and we didn't know that in advance. Would still stay in that cabin again as it was very comfortable. The owners are very nice and are willing to assist to make your stay as pleasant as possible. This would be a great place for a weekend get away or a long weekend escape.

My wife and I had a lovely time in the Blue cabin. Everything we needed was provided (even quality toilet paper!). Definitely would recommend staying here

What a wonderful long weekend. My husband and I were looking for a place to unplug for a short relaxing trip. This was definitely the spot! The other cabins couldn't even be seen from one to the other. Loved that! We brought our own food in and did not leave the property for 3 of our 4 days. Went hiking every morning on property. Enjoying the rock formations, trees and connecting with nature. Lake was busy during the weekend which made it fun to watch from our deck but then by Monday morning was able to take out the kayaks on a peaceful lovely morning cruise. Just us the turtles, and the birds. BEAUTIFUL! The cabin, jacuzzi tub, kitchen were all good! We didn't want to go back to reality! Thank you for making your dream something special for others to enjoy!

Cute cabin. Great views from both inside and outside the cabins. Comfortable bedding. Options for activities or just pure relaxation. Food choices within short drive times. Gated for extra security. Would highly recommend!

Calico Heights is our new favorite "get-away" place with some of the most beautiful sunsets we have ever seen. Quiet and private, we have stayed in both the Blue and Green cabins and they are both cozy and perfect for a romantic weekend or just to have an opportunity to unplug! The hosts of the property are so nice and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable. Can't wait to go back!

We stayed in two different properties and both were beautiful and clean. Everything was nicer than expected. There is plenty of space between properties, and it was perfect for a quiet getaway. Highly recommended.

I wish we could have stayed longer it was a great place and beautiful cabin. Very clean and the view was amazing. Thanks Calico Heights for a wonderful but short stay.

Just what we needed

We had a wonderful stay in the Yellow cabin. It was exactly what we needed to reconnect and recharge. The silence was amazing; no dogs or traffic to be heard. It was a peaceful, restful weekend. My only advice beyond "Just book it now, you won't regret it" is to bring some bottled water. There is everything you need in the kitchen, and you can buy ice down the road, but there was only not-very-cold tap water available when we arrived. I wish I had known that and planned accordingly. Seriously, book it now. You won't regret it!!
Red Cabin

It was a planned trip to Eufaula and we had never stayed in a treehouse before and it was fun, romantic, and beautiful. There was a nice welcome note in our cabin. The space was clean, the deck view of the lake was amazing. We enjoyed coffee there in the morning and at night watched the water and the stars. We look forward to coming back and staying in one of the other cabins. It was a memorable weekend at the lake.

Myself and my girly stayed in the Pink cabin for a little nice get away. The cabin was amazing, well kept up & extremely clean. The photos online doesn't even compare to just wht your truly getting at Calico Heights, this little hideaway was amazing!! We have stayed here twice a year for the last 3 years. It is the most extraordinary place to get away and relax. You can get out and see people and places or stay in and just look at the lake. Deb and her husband have done an AMAZING job with this place and in spite of the expansion, they have kept everything spotless and so "down to earth". Our first visit was actually turned into an ice storm and they were out at O' Dark thirty clearing the steps to make sure we could get out if we wanted. Just a flawless experience all around. We are heading back for our second trip of the year next month.

My husband and I stayed for the weekend for our anniversary. It was very quite and the yellow treehouse was so cute! It had everything we needed. We also greatly appreciated the wonderful map and directions. We used the kayaks that was furnished and we wouldn't have went out on the lake unless these were provided. So thank you! Will and already recommended to others.

I stayed in the green cabin. It was the perfect retreat and just what I need. Everything was clean, the view was beautiful, and the time was peaceful. I highly recommend Calico Heights!! It was one of the best getaways I have ever had. Thank you.

This was a wonderful time here me and my husband enjoyed this beautiful place so much everything was there that we needed and loved the written note yâÃÂÃÂall left us for are anniversary that was very sweet loved the beautiful few on the second deck see the lake and was so relaxing the note book yâÃÂÃÂall leave us is amazing to find places to eat and go explore there nothing that needs to be changed besides one things my husband wanted me to mention the only thing he recommended was a new grill for yâÃÂÃÂall front porch or the burners are burnt up so the food catchâÃÂÃÂs fire fast and itâÃÂÃÂs hard to tell the temperature on things so everything burnt and cooked fast but other then that would be the only thing needs to change everything else was wonderful. Thank you for the wonderful stay will come back again .

Yall this was the Best place for the weekend! The hospitality was top notch, the hosts left very thorough information on local amenities and restaurant recommendations, and the local eateries and bait shops were Amazing, they were all friendly and accommodating. We met locals who helped us find cool fishing spots and places to visit. The cabins were spacious, clean and comfortable. They didnât miss anything! Beds were comfy, towels fluffy and water pressure strong! We Loved it and will Definitely be back!!

This is our 2nd stay in the last 4 months. Blue and maroon. We drive right past Broken Bow and it's worth it. Views are breathtaking. The cabins are clean, spacious and my wife loves the jacuzzi tub (which means I love it). Quiet, Relaxing & Clean area. Weather permitting, we will get out on the lake next visit.

We rented the Orange Tree House for our 35 yr. Wedding Anniversary and it did not dissapoint. We were not only greeted with spectacular views, but also with a card, and some wine and candy from the owners. The place was absolutely beautiful! Cannot say enough about it exceeding our expectations!!

This cabin is just beautiful! The clean spacious and well decorated interior makes for a lovely weekend, but the view from the front porch is spectacular! The owners are helpful and the grounds are fun to hike around on.

My family stayed in the Purple cabin and really loved it. It was beautifully decorated and so comfortable and relaxing. The weather was nice in the morning and evening, so we sat on the deck visiting or reading books. There are a lot of trees in front of the lake side of the cabin, so you don't get a perfect sunset view, but we still enjoyed the view very much. Not a lot of steps to go into the front door of the purple cabin, which was great for my elderly mom. We went out on the pontoon boat two days and enjoyed the beach area with our dogs. The man who took care of getting the pontoon boat ready for us was so nice and helpful. We had a great time building a fire and cooking hotdogs and roasting marshmallows in the firepit. I loved walking the trails! We would like to plan another get away here soon.

I would definitely recommend these cabins. The view was beautiful, and I was impressed with the cabin overall. Our cabin was very clean and just the right size for us. I loved that I was able to bring my dogs and didn't have to pay an exorbitant deposit. My dogs loved walking the trails with me. We were able to cook or grill every day and only ate out once. We used the kayaks, first time for me and learned that I love kayaking. I will be going here again, since there was a fireplace in the cabin, I'm thinking winter getaway. We had one minor problem with the umbrella on the deck, but management replaced it right away.

We loved that along with our reservation, we had access to kayaks owned by Calico Heights. We had the perfect afternoon to have the lake to ourselves with the kayaks. Deb was so kind, and answered any questions I had along the way! The price for the treehouse for a weekend was affordable and reasonable. We may just have to come here again! ðÂÂÂ

Orange Cabin

We stayed at the Orange Cabin for 5 nights before the Labor Day holiday! We had read the reviews about Calico Heights and we were not disappointed! It was such a pleasant stay! The lake view was great and even though it stormed for 2 nights, we still had the best seats in the house, watching the storms as they rolled in. We were able to rent the pontoon and had such a great time at the beach! Owners were great! Very responsive and friendly!! We will back again!!!

I'm so happy I found Calico Heights for my guy's birthday. We stayed in the Green Cabin and it was very nice. Clean, great view of the lake, kitted well, and very peaceful. We rented a pontoon from Calico Heights which was very nice, clean, and equipped well. Dinner at the seafood place was good. All-in-all we had a great time and can't wait to return!

We had a great visit for 2 nights. cozy cabin with nice details. excellent hosts and very attentive. close to town and marina, but quite and exclusive. excellent views of the lake from patio and living room. two suggestions for improvement. dishwasher would have been a great addition to the unit and the AC units needs an upsizing. they work but runs all the time making it loud. we will be back again
