This was my husband and IâÂÂs first visit. The cabin was super clean and so homey. The area was quiet and beautiful with the leaves in full color.. We were greeted by Mike and Kathy when we arrived . They spent some time with us talking about the area. The porch was a lovely place to take in the beauty around us Our main activity was a lovely bike ride from Butler to Bellville , on the Richland B & O trail which goes to Mansfield. We hiked some and took in the beauty at Mohican. We were not disappointed! ~ Skip and Debbie

Peaceful cabin

The cabin was cozy and had everything we needed in it. The Kathy and Mike were amazing. Kathy was very responsive and helpful when we had questions. We really wanted to unplug and get away and I don't think we could have found a better place for that.

This was our 9th time staying at the cabin. You cannot go wrong staying here. Very clean and well cared for. The porch is perfect for relaxing. The hot tub is clean and inviting. The perfect setting to unwind. Kathy and Mike are exceptional hosts. So many fun things to do in the area. Already planning our next trip!

We had an amazing time staying at Bullfrog Mountain Cabin Rentals. Mike & Kathy were great hosts. They exceeded our expectations in so many ways. From the beautiful & spacious cabin, relaxing hot tub, tranquil porch for reading, pond, campfire pit and so much more. Kathy took the time to share her favorite places to visit. My husband and I were coming to Ohio to attend a family reunion, and we decided to stay a few extra days for a mini vacation. We are so glad that we found Bullfrog Mountain Cabin Rentals! It is secluded, beautiful, clean, and very peaceful. You can just relax on the property or take in the many activities to do in the area. We enjoyed hikes on nearby trails, took in a show at the Ohio Star Theater (about an hour away), and enjoyed some fun shops on the way back to the cabin. We also loved sitting in the hot tub under a clear roof during a rainstorm! Mike and Kathey are excellent hosts. We hope we have an opportunity to rent at this property again in the future!

Quiet getaway

This was an incredible little getaway! The cabin was very clean and the beds were soft and comfortable. The beds are all in the loft so if you have a hard time going upstairs this might not be for you, there is however a couch in the living room. The atmosphere was perfect, it was nestled away from everyone and the hot tub was top notch, 104 degrees! The pond was perfect for a quiet morning of fishing. There are fish and I caught 4! The host was amazing, feel free to ask her what you are looking for and she will lead you in the right direction! Would definitely stay again!

We love the cabin. It's so warm and cozy. Mike and Kathy are so welcoming and take care of the small details that are important to you. They are always there to greet you when you arrive!!! The cabin is always very clean. The setting of the cabin is in a beautiful woods and we find that very relaxing! Amish country is not to far away to go exploring!!! We will be back again for sure!!!!

Super clean, super comfortable! We traveled with 3 generations of ladies and didn't need anything because it was all there. We cooked meals together, enjoyed tubing down the Mohican river, shopped shops in Berlin, toured a castle, and enjoyed the evenings in the hot tub or by the fire.

We have stayed at the cabin for 8 years. Always very clean. It is the perfect get away. The hosts are friendly and have not overlooked any details in making the cabin feel like home. We love sitting on the porch and listening to the birds and relaxing in the hot tub. There is plenty to explore in the area. Highly recommend this little slice of heaven.

Perfect getaway from it all

My husband and I have been coming to this cabin for the past two years to just get away and recharge. We gather up anything we might need to cook in the kitchen or over the fire, and we don't leave until checkout! (However, if you need anything, a Dollar General is only a few minutes away!) Data is hit-and-miss, which is fantastic! The cabin has the sweetest little four-season sunroom overlooking the lake-it's my favorite place to spend time during our stay! A close second is the front porch, with two comfy Adirondack chairs-a perfect spot to read! The kitchen has everything we might need to cook simple and gourmet meals. There is a DVD player with a great assortment of movies-or bring your own! Lots of games and puzzles already there to choose from. All of the furniture and bedding are comfortable, and while I'd call it a "tiny house" cabin, it's got more than enough room for a couple or a small family! The hot tub on the deck is a great bonus, and at night it's perfect for seeing the stars above while you relax! I'm sure there are some great things to do close by, but honestly we've never left once we got there...until we had to! It's just so peaceful and relaxing! Can't wait to make next year our 3rd year in a row to escape to the cabin!

My friends and I have been coming to Bullfrog Mountain Cabin Rentals for 8 years now and we will continue to keep coming back! Mike and Kathy have 2 of the cutest well equipped cabins to stay in and we don't need to bring anything! The firepits are wonderful and the hot tubs are so relaxing after all day hiking! Tons to do in the area and Mike and Kathy will help direct you with anything you may need! They are the best hosts! So quiet and peaceful! We love it! Thanks always for wonderful weekends!

What a fabulous weekend my husband and I had! Bullfrog Mountain and Livi's Cottage was delightful! The owners add their personal touches to the property and are so friendly and helpful. It is very relaxing with the hot tub, fire pit, and has everything you need for a perfect get-a-way. I highly recommend and we will be returning again!

You dont really need to bring anything- they provide linens, towels, blankets, pillows, kitchen supplies, and even games, books, and movies! There is a ton of stuff to do in the area, and relaxing in the hot tub after a day of adventuring is delicious. The owners are super friendly and have great recommendations for food and fun!

Clean and cozy cabin. Plenty of room for 6. Nice remote location, but still close enough to Mohican Adventures for our tubing day. Kitchen had everything we needed. Cabin owners were great. Firepit and board games were a plus!

We spent a long weekend here and it was very relaxing! The owners were great to work with. Also enjoyed being somewhere that did not have a huge number of cabins. It was so quiet!! We will likely be back for another visit. Tried several small local eating places that we enjoyed! It was great to have no cell service which allowed us time to focus on our time together! So much to do and see in the area and it's one of our favorite places to be! Kathy and Mike are such great hosts and the cottages are both lovely! The fire area outside and the hot tub are great for relaxing in the evening! Games to play and movies to watch...always something fun! We have been coming here now for the last 4 years and usually twice a year...Make sure you visit! No wifi or cable...but we don't need that stuff anyway when we want to get away! Love this place! Cannot wait to go back next year!

Liviâs Cottage was just the getaway we needed. Exceptionally clean and so, so charming. Everything we needed was there including the sweet visiting kitty! Kathy and Mike are wonderful hosts, there if you needed them but not breathing down your neck! Had a wonderful fire in the evening and the beds were heavenly! We will absolutely return! It was a bit disconcerting at first to not have wifi and internet, but soon saw how much better we slept without it. Played lots of Scrabble, cooked and just relaxed! Relaxing Getaway

My husband and I love staying at Bullfrog Mountain Cabins! The cabins are very clean and well maintained. Just bring your food and charcoal because the kitchen is furnished with basic cooking utensils. Or if you prefer to eat out, there are many places to choose from nearby. Each cabin has a hottub to relax in and the property is secluded and private. Bring your books, boardgames or DVDs because there is no wi-fi. This is a place you come to totally unplug and relax.

My husband, 9-year-old, 7-year-old, and I stayed 4 nights at the Sleepy Hollow cabin in July of 2021. It was absolutely wonderful! Every detail was in place to make it a cozy, inviting home away from home for us. The cabin was cozy, inviting, clean, and had everything we needed to feel like home. We loved the pond on the property, and did a lot of fishing there. The hot tub was great to unwind in after our busy days. My favorite part of the cabin was the loft. It was so cozy, with beautifully made beds and cozy lamps throughout. They even left a cute book for us to read as a bedtime story to our boys. The cabin is also in a great location, only about a 10 minute drive to Mohican, Pleasant Hill Lake, and other attractions. We all enjoyed staying at the Sleepy Hollow, and hope to return there for our future visits to Mohican. Highly recommend!

We highly enjoyed staying at this cabin. The owners made our Anniversary extra special â¤ï¸. Had fun pedal boating in the pond. The hot tub was so relaxing and loved the wilderness. Everything was provided. We felt so relaxed we didn't want to leave.

The cottage was beautifully and quiet. If you need to relax definitely this is the place to go. . It was easy to find and the owners were very helpful on anything you might need.. I'm definitely going back to bullfrog Mountain.
