Each massage session is custom fit for your needs. My fees do not change depending on the type of work you need. I charge $30 for 1/2 hour massage; $45 for 1 hour massage; $70 for 1 1/2 hour massage. Be sure to click the links in the bottom left corner of our website www.amomentsrestmassage.com to see our Specials and Discounts or our Multi-Visit Packages! Your first massage costs only $25 for 1 hour in order for us to nail down what it is you are looking for in a massage.

Please fill out our health history form under our Schedule a Massage page or allow ten to fifteen minutes prior to the session to fill out your form, this is to avoid it cutting into our time. We will discuss your health history as well as your goals for the session and plan out your massage. This is the time to ask any questions you may have about the massage.

As Massage is contraindicated (should not be done) under certain medical conditions, clients must state all known medical conditions, and answer all questions honestly. Clients must agree to keep the practitioner updated as to any changes in their medical profile.

Every attempt is made to provide a modest and safe environment for the client as well as the therapist. I will leave the room and ask you to undress to your comfort level and get under the sheets provided on the massage table. I will knock before entering the room to make sure that you are ready, under the sheets. You will be modestly draped and covered at all times. Only the area being massaged will be undraped. I will ask you before the massage if there are areas you do not want to have massaged (ie feet, buttocks, stomach, etc.) and I will respect your decision.

I generally work with some sort of soft music playing, but I will gladly change the music or work in silence if you prefer, you can even bring your own music on CD that you enjoy relaxing to. I will check in with you about pressure, temperature, and general comfort. Massage Therapy should be relaxing and therapeutic, if you are not comfortable with the pressure or technique during this session, please let me know. If you need anything to be adjusted during the session please let me know. I do my best work when I am quiet and focused, so you can expect me to remain fairly silent during sessions except to check in with you. When your session is over, I will again leave the room to allow you to get dressed.

For a 1 hour massage, you can expect to be on the table for 50-60 minutes (usually 55 minutes). If you are late for your appointment, please understand that you may not be able to receive a full session. I will do my best to accommodate you, but I also have to think of my other clients as well as my time with my family. If I am late, the session will still fall within the 50-60 minutes of allotted time. This rarely happens, but it is my policy.

Massage should not be construed as a substitute for medical examination, diagnosis, or treatment. All clients should see a physician, chiropractor, or other qualified medical specialist for any mental or physical ailment they are aware of.

Massage therapists are not qualified to perform spinal or skeletal adjustments, diagnose, prescribe, or treat any physical or mental illness, and nothing said in the course of a session should be construed as such.

At the time of the session I accept cash and check only, I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

I ask that all cancellations are made at least 12 hours in advance in order that I can make that time available for another client. However, I understand that things come up at the last-minute as a mother, and at this time there is no fee for canceled appointments. Please respect my time and I will respect your situation. If canceling becomes habitual I will deal with that on a case by case basis.
